How the RRB signature resizer works
This page starts at 140×60 pixels and 10–40 KB. Confirm the requirements for your recruitment cycle before using those defaults. The crop box follows the chosen aspect ratio; Custom lets you change both dimensions and byte limits. After cropping, the tool searches JPEG quality against the ceiling and adds a comment block if the result is below the selected floor. The output reports its byte count, padding and range status. Check the handwriting yourself because the tool does not assess readability.
Tool limits and validation gaps
- The starting values are not a verified board-wide rule. Use the dimensions, format and byte range stated for your specific CEN and application field.
- Cropping and encoding cannot verify the required handwriting style, ink or document rules. Check those against your notice.
- A very tight ceiling can remain unreachable, and padding adds no image detail. An available download does not imply portal acceptance.
Questions about RRB signature formatting
Does this 140×60px preset apply to every RRB exam?
Not automatically. RRB updates its Centralised Employment Notice (CEN) for each recruitment cycle. Check your specific post's current guidelines, and use the Custom option if the required dimensions change.
How do I keep the full signature in the crop?
Move and resize the crop so every required stroke remains inside it. The box follows the target width-to-height ratio; changing Custom dimensions changes that ratio too.
Why did the result need padding to reach the minimum?
The encoded crop contained fewer bytes than the floor you entered. A JPEG comment block filled the shortfall. It does not improve the signature or establish that the recruitment portal will accept it.
Can I prepare a photograph on this page as well?
Custom accepts another width, height and KB range, but this page has no separate photo preset. Use the values for the photo field and save it as a separate file from the signature.
